![]() Jessica is a certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH International). Jessica has experience in both English and Western riding but has excels in the western discipline. Then made her way to assisting the owner/instructor, Jeannie Kapraun, in teaching riding lessons. Jessica spent so much time at JR Stables that it became her first job when she turned 15. Jessica started riding at age 6 at JR Stables, located in Metamora, Illinois. Jessica Shively has 25+ years of experience with riding, teaching, and training horses. We have a beautiful horse barn on site that is equipped with a bathroom. We have a large outdoor riding arena that can hold up to 5 people and horses at a time.
